Originally from Whittier, Olivia is a Southern California flutist with a passion for both teaching and playing. She is pursuing a BM in both Music Education and Flute Performance at Azusa Pacific University. Currently, she is studying under the direction of Gary Woodward and performs in orchestral, wind ensemble, and chamber group settings. Besides the flute, Olivia enjoys playing other woodwinds in jazz and pit orchestra settings.
A burgeoning scholar, she is a member of the APU Honors College and is currently engaged in research cataloguing wind band repertoire with Hispanic and Latin influence to be presented at state and national conferences.
