Sandy Gomez

Sandy Gomez began studying clarinet at the age of thirteen, found success in her high school music experience which has led to her collegiate music education, first at Citrus College then Azusa Pacific University, where she will be graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in the Spring of 2020. Sandy has had the privilege of studying clarinet under the tutelage of Bill Hoehne, Jennifer Gillette, Heather Millette, and currently with Professor Jennifer Showalter. Sandy has been active in the Azusa Conservatory of Music teaching woodwinds privately along with private and section coaching at: Goddard Middle School and Sandburg Middle School (2016-present), Etiwanda HS (2017), Gladstone HS (2017-2018), and Alta Loma HS (2018-present).

Sandy has been a member of various ensembles including the LAMA Orchestra, The Big Five Orchestra, The Sierra Wind Symphony, Musical Theatre Orchestra, as well as Azusa Pacific University’s Symphonic Band, Studio Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble.
